At Apollo Music Studios, I don't just teach music. I have developed an EFFECTIVE method that is proven to DEVELOP MUSICAL SKILLS in a UNIQUE WAY. I grew up in a musical family, and was subjected to years of boring practice, long hours at the piano and tears from the inability to have fun playing. My only musical wish when I was growing up, was to hit 18, so that I would no longer have to play. Against better judgement, I went into studying music professionally, and learned that most teachers had the same strict, boring and ineffective methods for teaching students. In fact, I quickly found out that a lot of these teachers DIDN'T EVEN CARE if their students learned. I Don't Want Anyone To Have That Experience With Music! I want you or your child to ENJOY what you are learning and develop skills that will last a LIFETIME. I'm not just telling you this to sign you up. I've created something new, innovative and fun. Customized Methods. Yes, I have a method book and follow a curriculum. However, I also understand that every child is different. I'll take what works best for them and lay it out. It makes the process so much more enjoyable. 4. Games, Games, Games! Music can never have too many games. You Pick the Pace. You can call me a teacher of music if you want to. But, I consider myself a mentor, guide and instructor.
